I arrived at The Heath House in Tean to be greeted by Sophie the events manager and co-ordinator there, she was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for everyone involved with the day. Sophie and her husband Justin do an amazing job. It was my first time photographing at The Heath House and I was very impressed…I would definitely recommend checking it out! So many opportunities for wonderful wedding photography.
I love wedding prep photography, it is such a fun part of the day for both the boys and the girls. Everyone is excited and enjoying a glass of bubbly with those they love the most. The air is filled with lots of nervous excitement and anticipation for the day ahead and it is so lovely to be a part of that and document those memories. Cat’s family are in the business of events and entertainment so I knew that Cat & Bobs’s wedding was definitely going to be a day to remember!
It was lovely to work with Gemma and the team from Dollface Make-up Studio and I was lusting after bride Cat’s amazing dried bouquets and crown by The Artisan Dried Flower Co The beautiful table centre pieces and ceremony/reception florals were by Bespoke Flowers of Dagenham
The wedding details were stunning, lawn games, bridal flower crown and 1920’s inspired bridesmaid dresses! *swoon* My favourite moments included the couple making their way through the epic ‘confetti’ tunnel created by their nearest and dearest as well as grabbing the couple for some portraits (rocking out as total Gwen Stefani and Dave Grohl lookalikes) and having a great time finding little romantic spots in the amazing gardens. We have a little rain but that didn’t stop everyone making the most of the day, some guests still had fun with the lawn games and some even danced around outside under umbrellas!
The evening’s entertainment was provided by Bliss Wedding DJs and guests danced the night away whilst being treated to ice creams from a traditional cart as well as THE best looking buffet I had ever seen, talk about an ‘instagrammable’ spread! 😉
