The woman behind the lens
My name is Jodie and I live in Staffordshire with my husband Ben and daughter P. I have worked as a professional wedding and portrait photographer for over 12 years and I love my job.
Alongside my love for photography I have a real appreciation for list-making (I am the organised one of the family… they all call me Monica Geller), reading interior magazines and anything and everything that’s turquoise. I have a slight obsession with Earl Grey tea and I am working my way through all the brands – please contact me for my findings!
I love Marmite, sweaters and the smell of coriander. I couldn’t survive summer without Saltwater sandals. In another life I would have liked to be a videographer or a musician (I am not musical in the slightest)
I have been a guest at weddings where the photographers were loud and bossy. Wedding photographers should be personable and ‘blend’ in, after all its your big day not ours! I pride myself on being easily contactable at any stage, be that via email, telephone or even text. And don’t worry about your ‘crazy’ family and friends – I have seen it all, I love my job and family and friends are what make a wedding.
Weddings are so much fun and individual to each couple so I always ensure your images will tell a story of your day and capture all those special moments, big and small. Check out my blog to see what I have been up to recently.
Portrait & Lifestyle
My style of photography allows you to be yourself and if children are involved they just spend the time playing and having fun. I can shoot at my Stafford based studio or at a location of your choice, be it a park, a beach or at your home. This relaxed atmosphere ensures that you and your family enjoy the experience and you will receive images you will treasure forever.
